Welcome Fall!

Believe it or not, the Hendrickson family has just celebrated six months of togetherness!

In many ways the time has flown by and it hardly seems possible it's been six months. In another aspect though, it feels like AGES. Jesse has progressed so amazingly in his adjustment, speech and emotional development that in many regards it doesn't feel like he's the same kid. Gone is the wide-eyed insecurity, the clinging-to-pantleg fearfulness. Now Jesse is a social butterfly who loves his classmates at school and loves the attention and care that he gets wherever he goes. Imagine a kid who for the last four years got next-to-no love, play, food, communication. Now everywhere he goes there are people who care about him, kids who play with him and help him learn how to do things. He has food, TV, family, Bob the Builder, and Spiderman. What more could you ask for?

Anyway, here are a load of pictures for your visual entertainment. Trick-or-Treat, pumpkin carving, harvest festival....in no particular order.

Jesse's pumpkin (second from right at the bottom) won "Spookiest Pumpkin" in the contest. Yea, Jesse!
